I'm trying to use the Advanced Heating Control V5 blueprint to work with the Velux window as a "Open door/window" detection.
But i cannot select this entity because it has been markt as a 'cover' when it was setup up from HomeKit.
How can i change this type to the correct one?

Additionally; is there a better way to connect the Velux windows with the KIG-300 gateway then using HomeKit? I couldn't find the password to fill-in using the regular device setup.

If your blueprint expects a binary sensor, probably the easiest path is to create a template binary sensor that gets its state from the cover.

Ok, i can try that. But if i want to make an automation later to "Close all windows and doors" then this one will not be triggered. So that would still be an issue.
