it will work fine you just have to keep the laptop on all day but if you dont mind that, go for it
It'll work fine, in some ways laptops make great servers because they basically have a built in UPS
The main issue is if the laptop doesn't have pass-through charging it might stress the battery - ideally use a laptop with pass-through charging and/or the ability to limit the battery charge % to protect the battery
I need 500gb with 16 ram and has pass through a laptop with windows 10 preinstilled so no paying for windows or Microsoft 365

9000...what currency? I'm gonna assume that's not $/£/€ because that would be insane
Windows 10 is being discontinued in October so you don't want that - but you wouldn't want Windows on it anyway for hosting HomeAssistant
Most Razer, HP, Asus, and Lenovo laptops have passthrough charging. I'm not sure about others and you should check the individual models before buying
Or you just buy a home assistant green. Comes with the advantages of being inexpensive, needing very little energy and not having any battery to care about
