Trying to decide between Sonoff SNZB-06P and the Aqara FP1E.
Using a Z2M network.

What tradeoffs am I actually making going for the cheaper Sonoff?

Room is 3.23m x 3.9m, want to put it in top corner and cover the whole room

I have neither. Sonoff is 5.8 mmwave. I have 5.8 mmwave devices. I find them too slow/not responsive enough in a big room. Aqara has AI Spatial Learning

If all you are looking for is a fancier motion detector than any cheap 24g/5.8g mmwave on Aliexpress will work.

If you are looking for something more such as setting zones, etc then the more expensive options will be better.
