Hi forum, first post.

I need to have an EV charger installed and have access to a few models to suit my budget. A question:
How do I go about selecting an EV charger that is compatible with HA? Is there a search function or something and how do I confirm if my EV charger will work with HA?

I would like to apply for the EV charger install grant (£350) and have attached the list of approved models in this message.

Thank you for your help! HP.

Hi @remote tartan thank you for this. I was hoping for a little more guidance on how to go about selecting one, I have no idea what HA is capable of, and would be disappointed to choose charger A only to learn a week later that B can do more and costs less. Any ideas appreciated.

artisan electrics did a video recently on things to know. they are a top quality company and they recomend the hypervolt specifically as part of the video and they are not the only ones. for general info this video is worth the watch - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dPX6S2_ChVc
it goes go into a bit of the fitting side of things as well as customer side but thats because that is what that channel is about

I use Easee charger. It uses a custom integration. A total of 48 entities are available. Recommended.
