I'm getting deeper into the smart home tunnel and now want to get heating controlled via HA.

I think I know the answer but I wanted to ask you more experienced people about best practices.

I started with a Nest thermostat that is connected to my combi-boiler and can be controlled by the Nest app just fine. I've now bought some TRV Aqara E1 for the radiators ( with separate thermometer sensors) and would like to know how best to set it up.

Assuming every room get a E1 radiator valve, what do I do with the nest thermostat? Just set it to max temp and let the TRV's limit the temperature in each room? Seems a shame to make my nest thermostat redundant. What do you recommend?

There is also the additional issue that my wife is setup on the Google home and has access to control the tempreture on the nest via the app and Google voice assistance. (I haven't rolled out / converted her to HA yet - I need to be more confident with it myself first) Should I just remove the Nest connection from google to prevent her from changing the settings?

I welcome your thoughts!
