Hi all! 🙂

My very 1st post here, I’m a totally newbie with HA and I’m in the process of renewing my flat.

I’ve bought a centralised Daikin AC system for my new flat which is made of two machines:

Daikin FBA71A9 internal unit
Daikin AZAS71MV1 external compressor unit
and those will have a wired controller at the wall. Plus there will be an AirZone interface AZX6GTCDA1 that will “speak” with the Daikin internal unit and will be in charge of modifying temperature and air speed in every single room by the way of a AirZone Flexa 4.0 remotes.

Now I’d like to integrate as much as I can of the Daikin system even with the Airzone zone’s controllers (which, I was told, are KNX ready). But I really don’t know how.

Any hint? thanks in advance! 🙂

Hi 👋! Do you have any other Knx devices, or is this the only one?

Thanks for the reply! ... At the moment I think I will only have the Airzone interfaces.

I'm so new to all this stuff that I don't even know whether I should "drive" the AC with the Daikin integration (if it will work because I read that now it works only in cloud polling and not in local anymore), or I should leave the control of the AC to the Airzone ...

Sorry, I can't answer any of those questions. All I can say is that to use KNX TP (twisted pair), you'd need a power supply and an IP interface - which will cost you about 200€ extra. If the device supports KNX IP , you should be able to connect to HA directly.

Well, I guess here is the right place - or in the community forum.
