#Will 100% eMMC Lifetime Used eventually cause issues?

Experienced a crash this morning with home assistant (possibly around automatic backup time), had to unplug the green and plug back in to get any response. I haven't dug through the logs as to why but I suspect it could be related to 90%-100% lifetime used on my green.

I bought the green in january last year and havent really ran too much on it. For example, I run ESPHome builder and other heavy addons on a docker container on my NAS, mainly for speed but also to reduce usage.

I am a beta user so am prone to updating my system every couple days.

My question is, will I be seeing more issues at some point? What happens when eMMC lifetime reaches its limit?

Just ordered an NVMe SSD to go with this enclosure I have. As soon as it arrives I will move my data disk over

The lifetime used is based on mmcutils (or similar tool) wear and tear reports, like SMART data for harddrives.
So the eMMC is likely failing soon or more often. It might be slight data corruption or a full breakdown of the system.

It's pretty usual for SD cards to fail without any advance indication, nice that the eMMC is warning you here apparently before you've run into issues.

Using all of the estimated lifetime of an emmc module in a year requires quite some effort
