I'm using a web card on one of my dashboards to load graphs made in Grafana. This works perfectly fine on my laptop/desktop browser but it won't work when i open the same dashboard with the Home Assistant app.

Does anyone know how to fix this? I logged in with the same user as when i logged in via the browser.

are they on the same network? the web card is basically just an iframe i beleive so if your accessing remotly you it may not work

Yes, they are on exactly the same network. But even in the browser on my phone it isn’t working.

can you access the grafana page directly in a browser on the phone?

Yes, somehow i can

could be a permissions issue for the app accessing the page/dns/certificate

#

do you have another device you can use the app with to see if it works on something else?

yes i tested it on the MacOS app and i get the same problem

Tested another iframe from a normal website but that works fine

I think iphones have some kind of a security setting that disables some connections to the local network, perhaps it's related to this? I'm not really sure how this works but my friend had a similar type of issue where he couldn't connect to a digital audio mixer despite being on the correct network without changing this setting

hopefully this thread explains this better than I can
