Scene Functionality Issue

Hi all, I’m fairly new to Home Assistant and i’m currently trying to work out the scene functionality. I have, programmed a light into a scene with a brightness of 20% and a relevant temperature set, but when save, change the light parameters and then activate the scene, nothing changes. Might there be something obvious im missing?

Can you share the configuration of the scene?

No matter how i have my device setup when in Live Edit, having clicked save, If i exit the scene editor, when I reenter the editor, the device appears to always be it's current state, rather than the saved one.

I'm not entirely sure what you're saying here or looking to do. Are you just reentering the editor to verify it's configured correctly?

In "Review Mode", it won't be automatically adjusting anything for you, so they will appear to be in their current state

I'm just going back into the scene to see how the device had been saved. Going into live edit mode, the device just takes hold of its current state? Or should it turn to how it was saved?

From my observations, going into Live Edit with a pre-existing scene, the state changes to match the current scene configuration

However, I wouldn't expect it to be different, but I've typically configured using only entities and not a device as you have
