#Generic Thermostat - Accepted temperature range issue

Greetings all,
This is my first question to the community, so pardon if this is not the correct way or place.

I've a Generic Thermostat configured to control a Towel dryer with a custom made temp sensor + relay.

Starting version 2014.8, 9, or 10. I really don't know for sure. I'm unable to set the maximum and minimum temperatures withing a custom range for a Generic Thermostat.
I customized the thermostat using the customization.yaml ( see attached picture ) to be able to get to 65C but now it doesn't let me pass 35.

The GUI shows the max/min limits correctly but the core ( I believe ) does not let me pass 35C, with a message that says "Provided temperature xx is not valid. Accepted range is 7 to 35C ( See 2nd attached image )

My current version
Core: 2025.2.5
Supervisor: 2025.03.2
Operating System: 14.2
Frontend: 20250221.0

Am I missing some configuration. is this a known issue?

Thanks ALL!!!

Why aren't you setting the min/max on the thermostat config?

Is there a way to set that on the GUI?
