The voice preview edition light is bordering me when I set alarm voor the next morning. The light stays on for very long time when using alarm or timer. I would like te option to toggle this completely. The light keeps me awake en it’s on my nightstand. Am I the only one?

this is not the first time I have seen someone asking for the ability to turn off the led ring for bedroom use.
you could probably customise the esphome firmware to do this but its probably also not an unreasonable request to ask be added to the stock firmware.
the correct place to do that is probably on the VPE repo by raising an issue as a feature request. https://github.com/esphome/home-assistant-voice-pe/issues
