I kinda need help adding the Ikea trådfri gateway to home assistant because I don't know the IP address of the gateway

Sorry to say that this clear, but this is simply impossible.

If the device can access the internet, it must have gotten an ip address.

Where does it get that from?
Either from dhcp or static. I don't think the tradfri supports static, so it must be in dhcp.

You can try something like a free ip address scanner to scan your network and it will show all mac addresses
