Is there a way to remove all data from a sensor? I have some incorrect values and would like to start over without creating a new unique sensor name. The purge action doesn't really work for this.

Well I ran it and the sensor still had the data stored. It didn't clear anything.

You can try clearing the long term statistics from developer-tools/statistics
Unclear if that is what may be showing there, but those are not reset by a purge.

gotcha. yeah these arent LTS yet
wierd how you just cant wipe a sensor and reset it without remaking it entirely. i get that is uncommon, but if its all DB stuff it should be fairly straight-foward, no?

Have you tried removing the entity and rebooting HA and then readding it afterwards? Just did this last night and inadvertently cleared the history data for a sensor lol
