I have several unassigned areas and need to get rid of some that were created in error. Example I have a Test area and can't just delete it.

Go to the areas page (https://my.home-assistant.io/redirect/areas/) and edit the unwanted area. Go to the dotsvertical menu of that specific area and you should be able to select "Delete area".

its unassigned areas there is not a 3 dots menu like the rest

Its like you cant edit anything thats in that area
