#Bluetooth Cloning?

Does the lamp has the bluetooth connection?
There are some ways to catch the RF/IR signals, but unless you are willing to start from the scratch, it might be easier to just buy some smart lamps
If it has Bluetooth, you can watch this for inspiration:
How to control an unsupported Bluetooth device from your computer, and add it to Home Assistant?
Use an Android phone and a Raspberry Pi to reverse engineer the Bluetooth Low Energy protocol, and control a light or other Bluetooth devices. In this video, we'll learn to control the device with a Python script, and in a future video, we'll add a H...
If it has IR, you can get an IR blaster to learn and send those signals, like the Broadlink RM4 Pro
It connects to an app via Bluetooth
What app. Always search to see if there's a home assistant integration or a community developed one from hacs. Pretty much everything I've ever wanted to integrate has an integration out there
Already checked it's called magic lantern (not magic home) and I can't find anything for it
A lot of Bluetooth led controllers can be controlled with multiple different apps. You can try those other apps (Magic home, LotusLamp) and see if they work.
Here is a repository which may help: https://github.com/dave-code-ruiz/elkbledom
Just did a bunch of searching and found and was about to link this same thing 😅
The apps linked here look like carbon copies of this magic lantern app, so it's looking hopeful
It is same as Tuya is manufacturing many smart devices which are then branded by different vendors for their own apps, but they all work with Tuya integration
Very sry for the necropost, but none of these apps seem to connect [EDIT] Nvm it seems to work with lotus lamp
Also idek if I could get a bt connection as HA is running off a pi in my basement lol
If it uses RF I think a bond bridge will work 🤔
Never tried one though, so I have no idea how it would work
You could use an ESPHome Bluetooth proxy. Place it close to your lamp and it will then route the BT info over WiFi back to your pi
I just moved my pi upstairs lol. Found an extra plug for it
