#Should I buy a second Voice PE, or wait for a "Final Edition"

There is no "Final Edition" planned for now.
The "Preview Edition" indicates that it is work-in-progress (kind of experimental) and not ready for general consumer use (like the Echo, Nest or HomePod devices).
It is not meant that it is a prototype and the "full release" would be imminent.
You may also try something like FutureProofHomes Satellite1, or Respeaker Lite or Koala satellite to see which works better for you.
I've built two satellites, with the Respeaker Zero, but the microphones were lacking.
PE is miles ahead in this.
So, if this is the final product hardware-wise, I'm going to get two more.
I got 2, and I love them. Granted I did have to ensure they were hooked up to a gpu-enabled whisper and local LLM using a 1080ti. The local option without GPU acceleration was not great. I imagine if you subscribe to HA cloud then it will be a similar or better experience. So:
- Expose a GPU system to HA (It can be a different server running on the network) or
- Use HA cloud
If you can do one of those, then I highly recommend it.
Or use Google Cloud or OpenAI's cloud Whisper :)
