I hope I'm in the right forum. My sister is getting ready to move to a new apartment and is going from a heat pump to baseboard heat in each room. When we were looking in the unit we're hoping to get I popped a thermostat cover off, and saw that it appears to just be a two wire system (US 240VAC), and I'm trying to explore options for what I could use. ZHA would be ideal, but I'm open to WiFi (2.4/5/6 available)
Amazon has given me a few possibilities, but I'm trying to not spend $100/thermostat, especially since there's four of them. I was hoping I could quote at the under $50 range, but it seems unlikely.
One option that definitely intrigued me was this https://amz.cx/3Mee, a Centrallite 3156105 that Xfinity/TWC used/use for their smart home systems. I can get them pretty cheap online, use batteries to control the radio and such, but I can't find anything online telling me if they can be set up for heat only
