I've recently decided to move from my Homekit/ Philips Hue / Matter Devices Setup to HA.
Before moving all lights/sensors etc. at once I want to check whether my most "important" devices are compatible and working properly. I'm thrilled about the endless possibilities that HA offers compared to the limited homekit system.
Problem description: I have a few Busch-Jaeger 6716 UJ-84 battery less Zigbee switches to control my lights in each room but I have trouble connecting those to HA using the ZBT-1 integration.
What did I try out yet:
- I already tried the pairing sequence described in the Philip Hue App, but the device is not detected.
- I already managed to pair Philips Hue and Ikea lights using ZBT-1, proving that the Zigbee integration is working properly.
My question:
Is there anything I have to do for those special kind of devices or has anyone experience yet with them?
I'm not familiar with the Zigbee protocol and hardware specifics but I guess a button press in this case only bursts out a signal only for a short amount of time, as the energy is created by the button press.
