#Is there a way to definitively tell in Zwave JS if a device is a repeater?

Basically as the title says, just looking for a way to definitively tell if a device is working as a repeater, specifically my Honeywell T6 Thermostat. My understanding is the thermostat supports repeater mode, but I am having issues with it not properly repeating button presses from my new Zooz Zen37 remote.

I'm trying to figure out if this is because my thermostat is currently misconfigured in some way (can a device with no security/lower security repeat devices with higher security?), or something referred to as "beaming" I've seen mentioned a few times being necessary for battery devices?

Choosing repeaters is done in the stick's firmware. If you're really sure that going through the thermostat is the best route, you can use Z-Wave JS UI to assign a priority return route to the remote that has the thermostat as a repeater.

Note that this may hinder the communication if the thermostat is replaced or the remote is moved, and going through the thermostat is no longer a good route.

Once HA supports including devices via Long Range, it would make sense to do that for the remote so it doesn't have to rely on repeaters at all.

Is the thermostat using batteries or mains power?
