#Animate GIF Not Working for Picture Entity

I made a dashboard for my dryer with a Picture Elements card.
I added two images, one for when the dryer is off, and the other for when it is running.
The one that is for while it's running is an animated gif, but it does not appear to be working, I just see a static image.
Is there something I need to enable in the yaml to enable it to be animated?

How do you have you gif defined? Can you post your YAML for that part?
At first, I was thinking that it might be a limitation of the card and cannot display animated GIFs. I found an example that might be similar to what you're probably wanting to do. There's a link for the example images too.
