#How to change unit of measure for meter helper?

I have a meter helper tracking power consumption for a cycle of the washer, dryer and car charging.
Right now it is displayed in W, and I'd like to change it to kWh. I changed what is being displayed, but I need the conversion to happen as well. How can I do that?

you need to track energy used and not power if you want kwh
these are different things.

is it possible to convert to and from... yes technically but its probably not the route you want to go. what entities does your power tracking device (smart plug or whatever) have?

I have Power, Current and Daily Energy
Right now I have a Utility Meter helper pulling the Power. I reset it when the Dryer starts so that it's only tracking the cycle.

Looks like I can select kW in the settings here, and it appears to convert it 😄
