by "cat5 fibre" do you mean the cable coming from your ONT?

are you using the DECO in router mode or AP mode?

have you configured opnsense to connect using the right settings to talk to your ONT?

I dont know where the "ONT" is located, but yes it's the cable that comes into my house that provides internet. I have 3 decos, the one that was plugged into the incoming line is in router mode other 2 are in ap mode

As for the 3rd question I don't know, so probably not

That diagram is how I had connected it originally, and I had no internet access nor access to the opnsense dashboard through my pc that was connected to the switch

need to make sure the decos are not in router mode becausee then you will have multiple dhcp servers

be sure your connected to the lan port on the opnsence box and it should assign an ip and you can connect and then will need to configurate the wan port to talk to the ONT
