#Hue bridge as zigbee repeater

I have 3 aqara temperature sensors that are getting a very poor signal. Even though I have philips hue go lights in the same rooms, I understand that the philips lights themselves don't act as zigbee repeaters. However, I have an extra philips hue bridge. Can I plug it in upstairs to strengthen the zigbee signal to the aqaras?
Does the bridge need to plug into ethernet to do that?
If so I may just get a sengled outlet or something

Hue lights act as repeaters, the Hue bridge does not.

At least, if the Hue lights are in the same Zigbee network as the Aqara sensors.

Apparently the bulbs only are repeaters for other hue bulbs. The hue network is strong in the same rooms that the aqara sensors are going offline due to poor signal.

Both aqara and my hue networks are set to use zigbee channel 11

Or so that's what some of my research is leading me to believe

Something about zigbeeTT vs zigbee3

It's not about the channel, it's about the network.
If you are using Aqara via their own hub or via a Zigbee stick and the Hue bulbs via the Hue hub, they are on two different networks.
Routing only works within the same network.

Oh I see.

Older Aqara sensors are also bad at dynamic routing. The mains powered devices should be added first and the sensors at the place on installation later.
