Hi all, new here. I've been playing around with Home Assistant for a few months now and all is going well.

Only issue I'm currently having is that after setting up Wyoming as per guide (piper, faster whisper and open wake word) then setting up my Voice Assistant and see that 30 entities (including my two google cast devices) have been exposed; it is not picking up my voice at all.

No logs to say so either. I also note that my Run Audio Pipeline is greyed out when going to debug.

Any ideas or anything I've misread / missed on this one? Thankyou. Apologies if this post doesn't contain enough information.

Can you post your service setup? Are you sure faster whisper and open wake word are running in Home Assistant?

What hardware are you using to pick up voice and play it back?

What do you mean by Pipeline greyed out? Can you make a bunch of screenshots of that as well as the integration

Also for my hardware I only have a google nest hub and a Google nest speaker so far.

You cannot use HA voice pipeline with that.

No problem.
Case is, that proprietary assistants like Google Home dot'n expose anything to the HA, so they just cannot be integrated.
