All Light Bulbs Unsupported - Can't Control via HA but i can control via Tuya App

I have Home Assistant installed and i can see my light bulbs devices through the Tuya integration. The weird thing is i cannot control in any way bulbs, since it says unsupported, but i can control perfectly through the Tuya app, but not through Home Assistant (tried Tuya integration and Tuya Local integration). Any idea on how to add these bulb lights to Tuya Local even if they do not have any IP since they are bluetooth only and they are connected through the Bluetooth Gateway? Now, there are like 472814518934 Tuya integrations and they have different capabilities. Light bulbs are the worst.

I use Tuya Local to control my lights, but it's a giant pain in the ass to get the colors set up the way you want them. Once you get it set up, though, it's FAIRLY easy to update things.

I am by no means an expert in Home Assistant - I would be what most of the community calls a beginner. But this is at least something I figured out myself and am working on drafting a guide for. 😄

You will need a Tuya Developer account. Do you already have one?

All is working fine from dev account i see every device

In HA on tuya i see all the devices but can’t control bulbs

If i try using tuya local it only discover the 2 gateways i have but no device

Anyway i just wanted to turn on/off, i don’t care about colors honestly 😅

Cloud at the moment, cause local tuya only finds my 2 bluetooth-wifi gateways but not any other device

But with cloud i can’t control bulbs

Ah! I missed something you said - these are Bluetooth only! I don’t know if any of the integrations support those tbh. Which lights did you get specifically?

I am having the same issue. I have a Mesh Gateway. Tuya Cloud Intergration can see it and the light connected to it but I cant figure out how to get tuya local to see it.

Yes, I have the ability to turn it off and on throught the tuya cloud intergration, but dont know how to get it in tuyalocal

the strange part is that these are rbg lights and the tuya cloud intergration only see the white/yellow colors not the rgb colors

I'll note that it's been 2 years since this was last updated - I can't guarantee it'll be perfect, but it relies on the same Tuya IoT Dev account.
