I haven't see that, but i was thinking about trying to make a HAOS a VM in Proxmox and passing a USB to a z wave coordinator....

I maintain some Bluetooth stuff in HA core and I have to say that VM USB pass through is frequently involved in the issues I see, and when we’ve exhausted all the causes that might be HAs fault usually going bare metal immediately resolves it. There are lots of people that proxmox does work for, my sample is self selecting, so your mileage may vary. But searching the forums for issues with pass through and your coordinator etc might be worth it.
@tender totem it’s arguable an SPOF so might not be what you are after but something like https://tubeszb.com/product/cc2652p7-zigbee-to-poe-coordinator-2023/ would let HA float around a cluster
Although it’s less mature and more expensive, Matter over Thread will be better for cluster users in the long run (because there can be multiple active routes into the mesh over your ipv6 network at all times)
