I've tried:

  • Regular Inclusion (HUB INC ON, Switch OFF, 1xclick-down)
  • Regular Inclusion(HUB INC ON, Switch ON, 1xclick-up)
  • Exclusion (HUB EXCL ON, Switch OFF, 1xclick-down)
  • Factory Reset (ON, 3xclick-up, 3xclick-down)
  • SmartStart provision with QR code
  • SmartStart provision with DSK

Inclusion attempts just have the HA hub to timeout
Factory Resets look successful and the lights blink once.

try exclusion

It does not appear to support SmartStart either.

yet it has a QR Code that includes a code of similar length. confusing. Makes sense though, don't think SmartStart was around when these were made.

Also, I did attempt exclusion but the docs say to just "press the panel". Not only does that seem odd.... it in fact is not working.

Is t exclusion just saying single tap? Up or down? And hard to believe a single tap would do it?

"Tap the paddle" would mean a single tap to me.

#

That's how all my old Jasco switches work.

Those instructions in the screenshot do seem to indicate it supports SmartStart. (There are also non-smartstart s2 qr codes). Certificate doc says it does not. The instructions on their website don't include that text.

Well nothing seems to work. No include or exclude. No DSK, or SmartStart.

Only factory reset seems to work and blinks the lights. Also the dimmer works fine as a manual dimmer. But not yet able to add to my network. 😦
