I'm looking for a way to get ESPhome or WLED communicate to a home assistant instance directly over USB. I've looked through documentation but cant seem to tell if this is something that's possible.
Its for a status light to reflect my Mic state. At home I currently set a hue bulb to reflect the state of my PC mic using HASS.agent but at work i can't connect an ESP device to the corporate wifi.
any ideas?
