I recentely removed a Zigbee device which others were connected to and they have failed to re-connect. In this case I had a smart plug that was removed which in the topology had some shades and switches connected to it. Since I removed it the devices that were connected to it are all offline. I assumed they would reconnect to the HA Yellow. This is in an apartment and all devices are within 30ft of the HA Yellow. I tried restarting, reloading ZHA, and powering down HA for 30 minutes but no luck. Any advice?

Some end devices do not reroute when their direct connection is turned off (iirc aqara is known for this)
You need to re-pair them

If I add the removed device back would that help?

More routers would improve Zigbee network resilience, but you may still need to re-pair some devices.
