Hey, quick question about the Aqara Light Switch H2 EU – can I set it up so that a single button controls four different light sources at once? I’m thinking of using it for things like smart bulbs and LED strips.

Thanks!

Yeah, the buttons are also exposed as event entities but remember that 2 buttons are tied to the relays

I will connect the bulbs and strips via zigbee

It is possible but just be aware that you will hear a sound of the relay click every time you use the top buttons. Also you need to both live and neutral wire in this case (if no load is attached)

I also have two of these Aqara H2 EU light switches. I have connected them via Zigbee2MQTT. This allows you to utilise the full potential of the switch. You can also decouple the relays and use the top buttons in smart mode. For example, I use it to control a Light Helper that contains three Aqara T2 lamps. The lamps are connected via Matter over Thread. I notice that these light switches are slower than my Philips Hue Dimmer Switches.

@quartz verge It would be nice to get the decouple function in HA via Matter. Do you see any chance to get this done, even though it’s not in the Matter standard? No priority…
