I've gone through the entire setup process and gotten to the last step for linking the google acocunt It then asks me for the google clould console project id again and when I add it, it always says its wrong, I geniunely don't know what Im doing wrong here

There have been significant changes in the Nest/Google integration. There were quite a few changes late last year

Well Im on CasaOs so ill see if the update from the control panel does the trick\

I cant seem to be able to update home assistant through CasaOS
and it doest look liketheres any updates natively either

I'm not familiar with CasaOS, but is it using Docker and might you need to repull the image?

Just as a forewarning.... I'm not sure how many integrations you have and what your instance looks like, there may be a fair number of breaking changes in 9 major releases

I only just got into this (like legit less than 9 devices and been at it for about an hour or two worth of actual work) so I dont mind

I did it!
for some reason casaos defaults to using the 2024.5.5 image instead of latest so after some tinkering I got it updated

oh actually i might need some more help afterall, is it possible for me to add my nest doorbell (battery) to home assistant? It says that its compatible but it doesnt seem to pop up
