Other than that, nothing. No other message.

2025-02-13 14:14:09.950 (Dummy-2) CHIP_ERROR [chip.native.DIS] DNSSD parse error: src/lib/dnssd/IncrementalResolve.cpp:285: CHIP Error 0x0000002F: Invalid argument

Looking through my log file, I see that it started on 8 January. During the last restart, the message appeared 48 times.

I do not recognise any issue. But what does this message want to tell me? Any idea?

it detected malformed mdns packets on your network

#

is the multicast dns feature still disabled in unifi ?

#

because that was is known to crap out mdns packets

Yeah, its disabled. IGMP Snooping is also disabled. MultiCast Enhancements and Broadcast Control are also disabled.

#

It's absoltely reproducible. When I restart HA Core, I see those messages. Otherwise never.

ah, there is a chance that HA itself announces itself with mdns and because both run at the host interface, this is catched

#

Did this issue start with the new HA release more or less ?

Which HA release do you mean, 2025.2.3? My Matter server log history shows me, that it happens since 8 January. I am unsure how far I can go back in my log history. I also recognized it the first time at the beginning of January, but I didn’t analyze it any further.

Any update on this error? I have the same problem.

You can ignore it

Its not an issue/error, just a log message
