Just happen to working on a companion app at the moment, but really this pertains to all devices with multiple sensors such as cameras, multi-sensors, and so on.
I got a new iphone and when I installed the companion app on my new iphone and named it "Captains iphone" it says one already exists...
No problem, for the time being I just named it "Captains iphone new" and now im finally getting back around to fixing/cleaning things up.
Ive deleted the old "Captains iPhone" device
I then renamed the NEW iphone to "Captains iPhone", it changed the friendly names but all the sensors are still called "Captains_iphone_new_xxx"
