Any recommendations for a smart switch for ceiling fan?

Is it an AC or DC motor fan?

That’ll help narrow it down.

For example, if it’s got pull chains it’s likely AC and you can look into Inovelli Fan Switches, their module, or also Lutron Caseta Fan Switches. If the fan has a remote, it’s likely DC, and I’m not too much help with this type of motor.

I do like Inovelli. I have a red switch and it's great. I was going to put one next to the fan switch. But two, thats a price lol
