#How do I install a custom wake word on my preview edition?

I've always wanted a device like the Voice Assistant Preview Edition to be able to answer to "computer" just like in Star Trek the next generation.

What edits do I have to make to the YAML of the device in order to hook up one of these models, and where I possibly find these models that could be installed that are compatible with microwakeword?

A working example would be the best kind of response.

There's Openwakeword and Microwakeword. Process is different for both. Make sure you know what you need.

Ah yeah I used openwakeword but I don't see the uploaded tflite in the config for my voice preview edition

#

Does that need the micro one then?

#

I found a python notebook for micro also but it is not as smooth. It already bombs out in the first step. It looks like the install process is also not as simple as the other one. But I'll get playing with it.

But it is the preview edition of course, these things still need to be figured out.

Thank you for your kind intention folks, but I'm not looking to train a new model. I'm just looking for existing models that I can try and the configuration format to add into my ESPHome YAML. If you go back to my original post, I explicitly talked about what edits I should make to the YAML file.

you cant use a model that doesnt exist. to my knowledge there is no microwaveword model for "computer" yet. so if you want one you would have to train one.

Yes, I found a model somewhere. I can't remember the URL. For computer wakeword specifically. It's in a repository. I can't remember off the top of my head.
