Looking for some help, I’m brand new to home assistant. I have a unifi network with a couple smart sensors. An ecobee lite 3 thermostat and a 2 stage heat system with stage 1 as radiant hot water, and stage 2 a hot water coil forced hot air. I have 2 rooms in the house that are much colder than the rest and what I’m hoping to do is set up an automation that will turn in the second stage heat when the unifi sensor in that room drops below a certain threshold. I have the thermostat integrated to HA through HomeKit.. Any help you can give would be much appreciated

It may be the ecobee just doesn't expose that as an option.
You can look at the device it creates and see if any of the controls look like they could control stage 2 heat, but at least I don't think mine does.
Hmm ok I’ll give it a shot
Depending on what it does, if it controls stage 2 like via the temperature delta between target and current temperature, you can play games like bump the target temperature by 10 degrees whenever you want it to call for stage 2 heat, but that's a bit hacky.
