Proximity / Zone based automations have recently started to fail

Hey,

I have had successful automations running for some time (around 2 months), but I noticed on the 1st or 2nd of this month, all proximity zone based automations have stopped working. I have not changed anything on the mobile app or HA docker container, and I haven't seen any changes I am in release notes for 2025.1.4. All other automations are working as expected, and scripts that are calling these automations work fine as well.

When checking the troubleshooting logs, I don't see anything for GPS / Coordinates related situations
Opening the mobile / companion app on Android after entering a new zone (which should refresh coordinates) doesn't do anything
Checking Permissions for GPS / Coordinates in the Settings menu seems to indicate everything is alright
Checking Location History, doesn't show anything in the past 24 hours, and in the past 48 hours only shows half of the coordinate events
Have restarted docker core and tried clearing cache on Android app

Could someone help point me in the right direction?

Has the companion app been put in low power usage mode by the OS?

Is it allowed location permissions in the background as well? Android tends to volunteer to remove permissions after a while and you might have easily overlooked that notification

tetele, yeah I turned off the auto-remove permissions if not used setting.
As far as I know, no, it has not (re low power usage mode)
