Hello!
I’m trying to make an automation that sets a light strip to a certain color if the tv is either turned on and the media player (receiver) is already set to a specific input or if the input is changed to a specific input after the tv is on.
I can only get it to work partially. If I change my “And if” to the “when” as a “false to true” statement, the light strip will change color when the input is changed. However, I can not get it to also turn on to a specific color if the tv is turned on and the receiver is already set to that same input.
Here is my current automation configuration that doesn’t do anything. How do I fix this to do what I want?
Secondly, I want that same light strip to turn off when I turn off the tv unless it’s after sunset, in which I want the light to stay/turn on for 5 minutes before it turns itself off. This is also not working.
