#Can´t connect to cloud after paying annual fee..

I have tried the cloud option and it worked great. After the free month option I have paid my annual fee yesterday but since then I can´t access the cloud anymore. It keeps saying that I am not connected and external access is being prepared. I have tried to reset the cloud access but that also didn´t help. Any idea where to go from here?

When I try to login on my phone, I get the message: unable to reach the Home Assistant cloud… (my login details are correct)

Have you tried rebooting your Home Assistant instance

# light reef Yes, same issue..

The being prepared status is where your HA server is validating or requesting the existing certificate there. Your instance won't be connected to Nabu Casa (Home Assistant Cloud) until that is complete.

#

Did you reboot the system or only restart HA?

#

The reboot option is found in the advanced options of the HA restart menu

Done that again but still get the message that it’s unable to connect..

Login & password are correct..

That's a different issue. This might be resolved by disabling IPv6 on HA in the network page, or determining what might be misconfigured for IPv6 on your network (router).

#

It is fastest to try disabling it in HA on the network page, and then rebooting the system (again).
If you still see the same "unable to reach" message after disabling IPv6, then it is a more basic IPv4 issue which will need to be resolved.

#

But this would probably explain why the "being prepared" status was appearing to be stuck

I will try that but it used to work in the trial period. Why would it be different today? Nothing in my network has changed…

I’ve disabled IPv6 and now it works, thanks. The only thing I would like to know why..

does it continue to work if you re-enable it?

(if you feel like looking into it)

Turned it back on, full reboot and it still works..
