I have parents that are getting older and they started to forget to close the stove when they leave the house. I'm trying to find a solution that would allow me to monitor and disconnect the stove whenever that happens. Any recommendation? I couldnt find any 50 amp smart plug that I could plug the stove in, maybe a smart breaker? I think ive saw smart knobs but I'm not fan of battery powered devices. thanks!

they let the burner open if you prefer. its fully electric

You could try actual relays and have them be smartly triggered

any relay suggestions that work on 240v 50amp ?

I would recognize ABB and Schneider as companies that would make the stuff youd find around here. The specifics of which ones are up to code for your area and availability may vary. Contactors/Relays at that capacity shouldnt be too uncommon even tho the control circuit being wired to an ordinary wifi/ZigBee relay would be.

Also keep in mind that installation and utilization can be very dangerous and should best be done by professionals ~~or at least with a lot of care~~.
