Emulated Hue - Questions about scenes | Home Assistant | Page 1

My girlfriend has asked if we could go back to having the lights on the Hue bridge instead of directly connected to the Home Assistant. This is because she misses the scene creation and editing features of the Hue app.

I would prefer to have them directly connected to Home Assistant as I believe this gives us more control and flexibility.

I have discovered the Emulated Hue integration which I will be testing out tonight or tomorrow night. This sounds like it might be perfect for us, but I wonder if editing and saving scenes to Home Assistant through the Hue app is possible, or what restrictions apply?

Have you tried this? What are your experiences with the Emulated Hue integration?

I just read this and it seems like it is able to save scenes, but not sync them to the HA scenes. It will stay in the Hue app.

I see the last commit to the repository is 2 years old. Does anyone know if this is still usable?
