#Tuya Smart Plug not updating power consumption

Hello, i wasnt sure if this was an Integrations thing or hardware, so ill try here first. Id like my Tuya smart plugs to show me their power consumption in kWh, they apparently do, but they actually dont. It "updated" once at first setup and said that each plug consumes around 0.1 kWh or less and last updated hours ago. Meanwhile voltage and amps and all that are totally fine and are showing correct and recent data.

Ive been using LocalTuya, i tried official Tuya and Extended Tuya, all of them have the same problem.

I was looking at community posts too, but none of those solutions helped me out with my case. I did not set them up via configuration file, i used the GUI.

Am i missing something? Do i have to change some settings in LocalTuya?

Any help would be very appreciated!

It's standard for Tuya smart plugs. They don't actually report energy consumption over a long period, they either report "ticks" of 0.01kWh usage as 1 then immeditely revert to 0, or report every 30 minutes how much was consumed over the previous 30 minutes (then don't report again until 30 minutes later with the internal counter reverted to 0 at the start of the cycle).

If you want energy usage, using an integration helper on the power sensor is generally easier than trying to make sense of what the device is reporting as "add_ele".
