Hi,
Just got my preview editions today. I first tried to connect it to my IoT vlan that is pretty locked down, assuming it only needed to connect to Home Assistant. I probably have a bit stricter vlan rules than I need so decided to try to factory reset it and try a different vlan.
I've held the button down for over 30 seconds and the light never changes to red, now it just is slowly blinking with its white light. Not sure what else to do.
Anyone know what else I can do to reset it?
It slowly blinks, that's the only thing it seems to do. I've tried to power cycle it.

well i was finally able to get something going but i think i added it as a generic esp device and don't have the full esphome config for home assistant voice preview. is there any config out there i can use to reference?
Ok ultimately found https://esphome.github.io/home-assistant-voice-pe/ that let's me reflash the device after it being bricked for a while.

Still can't get this working - seems pretty bricked at this point with no option of restoring it to a point it becomes a voice assistant 😦

There's web page to re-flash it.
Do you want the YAML, or stock firmware? PR is made to be black box by default, you can adopt it but it won't have full YAML.

Yeah i found the web page but readopting it adds it as a device with no entities so it doesn’t appear in hass as something that can do voice
Connecting it has a blue light for a while then it just turns red and twinkles

My guess is that WiFi connectivity works with VPE but HA is not discoverying the VPE

Agreed. Gonna try to start over agian and see what happens.
