Hi. I just received my first Home Assistant Voice Preview Edition and tried to set it up per instructions, but it won't connect to my wifi.
I'm running HAOS in a VM in Proxmox .
Core 2025.1.2
Supervisor 2024.12.3
Operating System 14.2
Frontend 20250109.0
The wifi SSID I'm using for the Voice PE and my phone is on the same subnet as HAOS. My phone is running the Home Assistant companion app (2025.1.2-minimal) in GrapheneOS, bluetooth is enabled and the companion app has "precise location" service permissions.
I plug in the Voice PE and it is discovered by the companion app on my phone so I click "Add". I know my phone is communicating with the Voice PE because the phone discovers it and because when I enter the SSID and wifi password on the phone when trying to add the Voice PE, the companion app remains on the "press the button on your Voice PE to continue" message until I do click the button on the Voice PE.
However, that's as far as the Voice PE gets. I always get "Unable to connect." When I click continue on that error message, the companion app tells me that the Voice PE is ready to set up and I can click it's name to try again from the step where I enter SSID and wifi password.
I know I have the correct SSID and wifi password because I can manually re-enter them into my phone and laptop and they connect to the correct wifi network.
I've attached some of the log from the companion app that's pertinent to one of my attempts. That log is mostly a foreign language to me, but I find it interested that the name of the discovered device ends with 6 hex characters, which I think is the last half of the MAC address of the Voice PE except that the last character is wrong.
I've reset the Voice PE to factory settings and started from scratch a few times.
I'd appreciate any help anyone can offer.
