I am looking forward to automate the shutter. Because of the high current of the motor I am not sure which product I should use. This will be my first step into homeautomation. So I am also free to choose which protocol I will use.
I found products from eltaco which are a little bit expensive if I keep in mind that I will need 7 of them.

Which hardware are you guys using?

if you are comfortable building something you can use any arduino based device with wifi and a H-Bridge. Does the Shutter already have a motor on it, and you are just driving it? does it have end stops? what current are we talking?
