Hi everyone, i'm looking for a sensor that can do up to 100,000ppm for CO2. My environment would be high humidity as well so might need some way to calibrate the sensor. I have found a few options so far and would like to get some opinion or some other suggestions if possible. Would like to keep it under $100 for each sensor

What kinda industrial task is this where you would measure co2 with diy sensors?

#

Anything above 10k would be an imminent health risk towards quite the fast death at the upper end of what you want to measure

Just to add to this. don't cheap out on safety critical sensors

nothing critical, just need something that's accurate within +-1000ppm

#

and cheap enough to buy a good amount

Anything above 10k is very much critical to your health

#

Not sure what you would be growing that produces co2 but sensors as you want them are more priced in the range of multiple hundreds

as others have said. co2 levels this high are extremely dangerous. at 100k you are at best in a coma but probably dead
around 40-50k you will be confused vomiting and may not be able to recover

i am no botanist but isnt photosynthesis ideal at around 1200-1500 ppm anyway?
are you trying to grow something highly specialised?
i think there is some strange stuff you can do with mushrooms at high co2 levels but i think that maxes out around 10kppm (mostly safe if exposure is limited)

if your doing something super specialised then get the right tool for the job. co2 is toxic and will kill you if your not careful.

Ill take that as none of you have any experience with these sensors

At least none who has survived.

For contact to the experienced, you would likely need a Ouija board.
