I'm in need of a little help around node-red / home assistant.
I'm trying to setup node-red to ping a devices / webapp and send that data to Home assistant if anyone able to help me I'm stugging to work it out at this time

When you say ping a webapp, what does that mean?

so I wish to ping jellyfin.local.network
or Nextclound.local.network
or Sabnzbd
etc etc this way i can send this data to Home Assistant
I'm just testing it i some what have something but not sure its right at this time
this will have webapps in colour if there pingable and if not i wish to take there colour away that all very simplish i guess but trying to get it to work at this time

There's a ping integration you know
There's also an UptimeKuma integration, which is going to be better for this

I know where is But doesn't really work and i wish to add more then just ping to it As I'm using DNS names but i also with to use the ping for lighing as well

yea i may do it but trying to do it this way as I'm playing to add light and other thing to effects
and stuff such as auido as well

Not sure if this meets your goals, but there is also an http node, and even nodes for scraping websites.

Hi @stiff jackal humm.... that may work the node for scraping websites witch IV not come across yet
Iv pretty much got it running i think just needs a little work on udpating it and done
