I built a house a number of years ago with the intent to use Home Assistant in it--and I did for a short while. However, I had other things to do, and we used the switches manually just fine for years. Now I have the time to get back into things, and while I've set up every device I've got, I've got something like 40 switches HomeSeer WD100+ or HomeSeer WS100+ around my house left to pair.
But, no matter what I do to the switch closest to my hub, I can't get the hub to see anything. I've done the triple tap reset approach on it, and a number of other switches around my house. I've only gotten two of them to add to Home Assistant. Can anyone guide me through what it takes to reset the entire house of switches, so I'm not just tapping light switches like an idiot. Is it possible some of the Zwave functionality no longer works? Perhaps due to power outages even though the home has a whole house surge and don't have issues with anythings else.
Some or all of these used to be assigned to another Zwave dongle that I've since lost for when Home Assistant previously on a raspsberry pi. Now I have a Zooz ZST39 connected to a N100 Mini PC running Home Assistant via docker.
