anyone making DIY zigbee devices with esp32-c6 yet?
I see ESP garage door controllers but rather use zigbee when possible, can DIY esp32-c6 zigbee devices act as repeaters ?

I did not have good luck with them as routers

#

Other than that, they work well. Have several projects using them and will likely use them for most things going forward.

ok, but they can connect to other zigbee devices? (that is acting as repeaters)

They can be configured as either an end device, router, or coordinator

#

They ha e terrible range though and when configured as a router I would lose battery powered end devices that tried to connect through them

makes sense not to use em as router when on battery. wouldn't be efficient either.

#

do you have any bookmarks/info to share ? I just starting to look into this. Thank you for your time.

I'm not saying that, Thy were powered by mains. I'm saying that they were flakey and would cause other battery devices to fall of the network.

#

When set up as end devices, I didn't have any issues

Your experience may be different

Hello, yes it can. I have done one. Custom with arduino. Good support from Jan (maintainer)
