Voice PE not found

I just got a new Voice PE, plugged it into a USB-C cable and the LED ring starts with a twinkle animation. I then opened the Home Assistant app on my mobile device, went to Settings > Devices & Services, and under the Discovered section - it is not listed. I checked that the «Precise location» option is enabled for the Home Assistant app on my Iphone and that I’m running the latest version available for Home Assistant. Any ideas on what to try next?

Update: Home Assistant is running on a device which does not have Bluetooth. Is the PE onboarding using Bluetooth via the device running the Companion App or the Home Assistant server?

You need to allow bluetooth capabilities on the companion app device

I didn’t find any app permissions related to Bluetooth

However, trying from an Ipad - I was prompted to allow Bluetooth, that didn’t happen on the Iphone. Regardless, device was discovered from the Ipad so all good now. Thanks 🙂

This REALLY needs to be added to the docs. I just spent an hour troubleshooting not being able to provision the two devices. I do see the Bluetooth permissions toggle in the app settings and enabled it immediately fixed things.
